Because each Westcoastcrafts candle is
hand-poured, every piece is unique.
While no two are alike, the type of candle
does matter when it comes to safe and
mindful burning. Find your candle
type and specific instructions
below to get the most
from its natural
glow
OCTAGON SPIRALS
Trim wick to 0.5 cm before each burn
Keep away from children, pets, drafts and flammable materials
Let the candle burn to the edges on first use (approx. 2.5 hrs) to set its melt-memory
Limit burn time to 3 hours per session to prevent wax spillage
Keep the wick centred and upright for an even burn - use a heat-proof tool for this and push/centre the wick at its base
If the candle soots while burning, extinguish the candle according to instructions and trim the wick to 0.5 cm before relighting
Burn the candle on a heat-resistant, stable surface only
Never leave a burning candle unattended
Keep multiple candles, at least, 10 cm apart
After each burn, gently hug the candle wall inward - it maintains the candle's shape, ensures an even wax burn for the next use & keeps the
flame low as the melt-pool forms & fills.
Extinguish the candle by using a snuffer or with a heat-resistant tool, by dripping hot wax from its melt-pool onto the wick
